HOORAY!! done with my test.
I finished my test finally. Here are some study drawings i did to warm up. The smaller ones are the first ones i did. I would scale them down and push them to the side as I moved a long. You can see how my drawings get more confident over time. Now hopefully I will get the job. HOORAY DENTAL!!!!
I am feeling inspired by two things lately. Roller Derby and Judas Priest. They go hand in hand me thinks. I highly recommend this ridiculous Priest video "Breaking the Law". THEY HOLD UP THE BANK WITH THEIR GUITARS!!!!!! awesome! that kinda silliness is timeless.

YodelGirl
This was based on a drawing Jess did, but i cleaned it up and colored it. I am trying to iron out a process. First drawing in sketchbookpro with the pencil tool. I bring it into Painter which has some great brushes and especially water based brushes. Then i brought it into photoshop to work out the kinks. Still working out my process...the only thing that will get me there is milage/weightlifting.

tiger tiger burning bright
A Tiger drawing for jess. I used the pencil tool in sketchbook pro for it. It felt good, the pencil in sketchbook is really natural feeling. I wish it would register if i am using the side of the pencil....but the quality/grain/opacity of it looks good. I think i might bring this into painter and try doing a wash background and add some watercolor. I was inspired by Peter de Seve and this great step by step process of his work method found on http://garyclair.blogspot.com/ (halfway down the blog)
