Kappa Dance
This is a cute dance cycle I did for a freelance project. I usually animate out the body first in a quick shorthand, then use symbols on top. I find this lets me work confidently * if I know my rough animation works, the final will work. People can get bogged down with puppets, it's really freeing if you first get loose and plot down the basic shapes. Done on 2's and straight ahead.

Way too cute!!! And your process makes so much common sense... just never thought of that. Also haven't animated anything in awhile so it feels less intimidating if I do decide to do something.
